Q1Does my project have to be open source to enter?
No. BUIDL_QUESTS 2026 is a startup competition — entries are evaluated as startup teams and products. Open-source projects can additionally earn open-source points toward attention rewards, but open-sourcing is not required.
Q2Can I edit my project before the submission deadline?
Yes. You can update your submitted project information at any time before the deadline (Aug 12, 18:00 SGT).
Q3Can I edit my project after the submission deadline?
No. Submitted information is locked after the deadline and will be used as the basis for interview review — but you can keep building the project itself.
Q4Is the leaderboard ranking the final competition result?
No. The current leaderboard ordering is not the final competition metric — official judging is done by the judges under the startup-team and product rules. The OpenArena leaderboard serves as the reference metric for the Attention Award.
