Agentic Invoice Parser

The main focus of this project is to utilise AI agent to parse invoice images or documents and allow business owners to keep track of their own expenses. If the owner uploads a PDF file, it will be parsed by an open-source tool, MarkItDown, first before feeding the invoice data into the agent. The agent will break down the invoice into individual items and categorise them. The dashboard will then show the expense breakdown based on categories. The confidence level from the agent from each item will also be shown to reflect accuracy and the owner can manually review the entry. This feature is built on top of an HR system which I built days ago, for convenience. Image upload and categorised expenses are not stored in persistent storage.
